Sybil Cottage is a highly recommended, very popular, pretty semi-detached, carrstone cottage built in 1908 and is situated just off the quiet village centre. Holme has extensive sandy beaches with the RSPB nature reserve close by. There is a local pub and restaurant in the village and Holkham Hall Estate is just 12 miles, Wells is 14, Kings Lynn 17 and Hunstanton 2 miles. Sandringham House and Gardens are only 11 miles away and Titchwell Bird Reserve is just a mile away, so the village is perfectly located for visiting the area. Both Brancaster and Old Hunstanton Golf Courses are only minutes by car.
Over one acre of well-cared for woodland gardens lie to the rear of the cottage. The first area nearest the cottage has a large terraced lawn surrounded by shrubs with a little summerhouse/store shed and wooden garden table with seating and barbeque. The second area again is lawned with a play area with table tennis table, trampoline, swings and climbing bars along one side and after this the garden beholds more surprises! An enchanted fairyland awaits visitors beyond the children’s play area, with pond, fairy lights and small woodland walk. Who could wish for a more magical evening than barbequing and relaxing in this beautiful tranquility? A small 'zip wire' has just recently been added at the bottom of the gardens in the woodland.
The cottage is very well-furnished with oil central heating and has wood flooring in the kitchen and dining room, and carpets in the bedrooms. Recently extended, at the rear plus having other renovations in a contemporary feel, but not detracting from the cottagey attraction, the cottage offers excellent high quality accommodation for 8 throughout.
