This detached house is a really superb, individual contemporary property with delightful enclose gardens with views to the sea and less than 5 minutes walk from the beach. Local pubs/restaurants are also minutes away. Seagrass is of an excellent standard throughout, decorated and furnished in a very modern way, with the seaside in mind. The interior design has been skilfully though out bearing in mind the unique saize and shape of the house, but not compromising the available space. The beautiful, split-level garden has effectively placed shrubs and hedges making secret areas, thus being a children's haven for playing. All the trees and hedges become illuminated at night and there is extensive decking at the rear running down in to the gardens with a ramp and steps. A warm outside tap is available for dowsing down the sand after a trip to the beach or just for cooling down in the sun! Very light and airy throughout, the house is well-equipped and furnished, perfect for a family seaside holiday, being 'seaside and sand' friendly! There is pine flooring, a myriad of contemporary lighting on walls and ceilings, adding to the friendly ambiance comprising; rear entrance from the decking into the large open-plan dining area and kitchen. This is divided by a central chalk chimney breast with wood burning stove and back boiler for hot water. Dining area overlooking the decking and garden. Kitchen area fitted with high quality range of stainless steel and beech wood units, dual and single sinks, built-in electric oven plus 2 hobs. Door through to lounge. Separate WC and washbasin with door outside. Lounge with multi-fuel stove, TV/dvd and French doors onto decking and garden. Staircase to first floor landing. Two bedrooms; Bedroom/playroom with twins plus large sofa/bed (sleeping one), TV/dvd and room for cot. The master bedroom has a low-level double bed facing the window (you can lie in bed and see the sea!!) plus TV/dvd and room for cot. The quite large bathroom has a peninsular bath, a curved walk-in shower cubicle with power shower, vanity handbasin and recessed lighting, heated rails and mirrors, WC. Seagrass is a charmer, very clean and practical, and with its seasidey blue and white paintwork set off by a green creper sits very harmoniously in a quiet residential street near the beach. There are partial sea views from the upstairs windows and a delight of a back garden. The house is bigger than it looks and of course that super garden sets it off nicely. As ‘connoisseurs’ of baths and bathrooms we loved theirs and were especially delighted to lie back and gaze at the night sky through a velux window overhead. Among other features that appealed to us were the warm and welcoming sitting room and the very user-friendly kitchen-diner (where you sit overlooking the garden).
